Java Shark Solutions provides web development, software engineering, and consulting services ("Services"). The specific scope of work, timeline, and deliverables for each project will be agreed upon in a separate proposal or invoice.
2. Payments & Refunds
- Payment Schedule: Typically, a 50% advance payment is required to commence work, with the remaining 50% due upon project completion/deployment.
- Refunds: Since we offer digital services and custom code, payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. Exceptions may be made at our discretion if the project is cancelled before work begins.
- Late Fees: We reserve the right to pause work if milestone payments are not made on time.
3. Intellectual Property (Code Ownership)
Our Guarantee
Upon full payment, YOU (the Client) own 100% of the source code and design assets created specifically for your project. We do not lock you into proprietary platforms.
Java Shark retains the right to reuse generic code snippets, libraries, or development tools that are not specific to the client's business logic.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide necessary content (text, images, credentials) in a timely manner.
- Review deliverables and provide feedback within the agreed timeframe.
- Ensure you have the rights to use any media or content you provide to us.
5. Limitation of Liability
Java Shark Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services. While we implement strict security measures (Java Spring Security), we cannot guarantee immunity from all cyber threats.
6. Third-Party Services
We may recommend third-party hosting (e.g., Vercel, Hostinger) or APIs. We are not responsible for downtime, data loss, or policy changes caused by these third-party providers.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
